Halloween!

Life is a changing for our family. As the Grand kiddo's get older, they want to spend more time with their friends and less time with the family. Well, I can not blame them, it is just a new adjustment for me. I had posted yesterday that our family usually gets together for a Halloween party which included a Chili supper followed by taking the kids Trick-or Treating! It was so fun to have everyone together enjoying the little ones.

This year, all of the kids expressed that they wanted to stay in their own neighborhoods and be with their school buddies.  Could we be upset about that, absolutely not!  The plan was that Nana (me), and Grandpa Bill would try to make the rounds and take pictures of our little (big) Goblins. I think we did a pretty good job, but we did not make it to see Evan and Daylee.  Tiffany was able to take a picture with her IPhone and send it to me.

Jaycie summed it up:   " Nana, you have to let us grow up!"  Yes, I do but I will go kicking and screaming!

Here are some pictures! Our first stop was Erin's house. Thank you Amber for bringing Jaycie over!
Jonah, the Cookie Monster
Emma aka Dorothy
Jaycie, a beautiful bug

Then we were off to  Shawn and Mary's

Sarah, the redheaded Witch!
Ryan, he will be the Immortal
The Witch, Immortal and Aspen (reindeer)!
Grandpa Bill, Nana and the Goblins!
The Collins Gang
Miss Sarah and Aspen

Daylee ( Troll Doll we called them Dam Dolls)  and Evan the Phantom!

Actually, it turned out to be a nice night. I know as the kids get older, and do not go out to Trick-or-Treat, we will be able to resume our family party. For now, I guess I will just have to let them grow up.
