next week.
We have been watching our Grand puppy, Lucy, this weekend and are having so much fun. Cecil is learning to tolerate her, while Chloe is trying to make herself invisible! I would imagine if Lucy stayed with us for a week, Cecil would learn to be friends with his "niece".
After my run this morning, we took Lucy to the dog park. There were so many dogs, of all breeds and sizes, I think Lucy got a little overwhelmed. She likes to play fetch but is not too keen on playing with the other dogs. One massive Great Dane was very interested in her but she did not want any part of the HORSE! By the time we were ready to go, she was just starting to play with some of the smaller dogs.
Nana, trying to get Lucy to drink the water. |
She had a big drink, then it was off to play with the toys! |
She likes to be alone. |
Lucy's mom takes her to a dog park that has trails and a pond. This park is enclosed with fencing and the dogs run and chase each other, that may be the difference. Anyway, it was a beautiful day to be outside and we will try again tomorrow.
If I had one wish, it would be that I had all the Grand Kiddo's with me today!
Glad you had a great time. It sure does look nice there.

You poor baby!!!! Twenty four hours without access to the internet!! I cannot imagine! We need to work out some kind of code so if your cut off again in the future we can get the word out to send reinforcements!! Goodness!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by and following. I look forward to getting to know you.
ReplyDeleteI envy you the dog park. We don't have one and when ever I see a video of one, all the dogs seem to get a long. That always surprises me. Not sure I could trust my little terrier.
What no internet? Sorry for your loss.
