Holiday Bliss

I have always enjoyed everything about the Holidays.  I like to decorate the house, bake cookies, attend the grand kiddo's Christmas programs, visit with friends and sit in the dark living room, with only the Christmas tree lights on, and just bask in the holiday feeling of warmth and family.

Tonight I went to Barnes and Noble for a Christmas Concert put on by my oldest Grandson's  grade school . The choir sang a few songs then the orchestra played three Christmas songs. Jonah, my oldest grandson, plays the violin in the orchestra.
He is very serious!
High Five--Good Going!

Can life get any better than this.. I do not think that would be possible!

  3. @ Jennifer, they played We Three Kings and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. It is so nice that some schools are putting Christ in the Holiday. What a wonderful blessing.

  4. I really miss not going to Christmas concerts. When my son was younger he played the tuba in the school orchestra and every Christmas the students would put on a fantastic concert, each instrument wrapped in tinsel. I'm sure you thoroughly enjoyed watching your grandson. Lovely happy photos.

  5. How fabulous!! We put the tree up last night but forgot to get lights, so now I have a bare tilting tree in my living room. Yeah Christmas!!!

  6. Sounds like a wonderful evening!! I'm so glad that they played religious music too, people are forgetting the true meaning of Christmas. Jonah is quite the musician:)

  7. thanks for sharing! I love the holidays (and Christmas even though I am Jewish!)
When I was young my Dad used to take us for rides to see the Christmas lights...also my first husband was Catholic and all of my friends used to say I decorated our house for Christmas more than THEY DID! And I was the Jewish one! lol. I used to love to turn out the lights as well and watch the tree.
Your grandson is just precious and ohhhh sooo proud of himself, as he should be!
