Thirty days of Thanks

Day 12,

Today is Friday, the twelfth day of November 2010 and I am thankful for:

It is Friday, the day that Hubby and I reconnect after My work week. Today I am thankful for the wonderful smell when I came home from work.   Hubby had made his famous Spaghetti with Sausage and red sauce! The smell of garlic permeated the house and the pots were simmering on the stove. Now, this is not an every friday occurrence, so this was a very special treat!
He did not know that I was capturing this moment!
What a Sweetie!
He said "Don't take a picture of me!"
Thank you, my dear Hubby, for surprising me with a yummy spaghetti dinner after a long day at work!

  2. Shawn,

What's he making tomorrow night? and what time should we be there?? LOL

Thank you for leaving such a lovely comment on my post about my dad. Yes. He really was a very special man, and I know a lot of "daddy's girls" say that about their dad, but with him it was all quite true. He was loved by all who knew him.

Your hubs sounds a lot like mine. Sweet, thoughtful and camera shy! Have a wonderful weekend together!

    Blessings,
    Martha

PS: You and my daughter share the same name! Same spelling too! (and as an aside, I was adopted. I was so thrilled for both of you when I read about your "reunion" - so, lot's of things in common, no?)

  3. Dear Shawn

It brought me such joy to see Bill surprising you in such a special way! He reminds me so much of my husband there! I bet the pasta was yummy - extra de-lish because it was made with love!

    Have a wonderful weekend!
