RAIN

I was so happy to see the lightening and rain Tuesday night. The weather has been so dry on the Front Range, we desperately needed a good soaking and hopefully this would be the time. Several times I woke up during the night and could hear the rain drops hitting the bedroom window.

Wednesday morning, it was still raining!  Now remember, we do not have a lot of rain in Colorado but I did get an umbrella a few years ago.  Unfortunately, I could not remember where I put the darn thing. I knew I had put it somewhere that, at the time, I knew was not a wise idea..but where was it?

It took me 15 minutes, out of my precious time, to find it...in the sewing cabinet!  Don't ask!
Anyway, I got to work..On time..and the rain continued all day.  And all night!

It Is Still Raining!!!!  Ok, enough is enough!
Today, the day I was supposed to run,
The day I wanted to make up for the bad run last Saturday!

Geeshhhhhh...............

Gloomy..COME BACK MR. SUN

Puddles everywhere.

I can hear the birds chirping, and it is finally down to a hard sprinkle. Tomorrow, when the sun comes out, the grass will green up and it will be another beautiful Colorado day!

  1. Be careful what you wish for ... you might get it. I've been wishing for an end to our rainy weather ... it was sunny yesterday - but 95 degrees! Yikes! Have a great day!

  4. We FINALLY got some rain. It started this morning at about 10 and it's still raining. The weatherman said we've gotten more rain in the last couple of hours than we did the last three months. It's wonderful!

  7. can't wait for some of your rain to head our way! We are unseasonably warm here in Michigan (80s) and frankly I don't like it! I like 60-75 degrees and that's it! See? Your Thursday post WAS restored! :)

  10. We're getting light rain right now. I can't complain because the last couple of weeks have been much more like Spring is supposed be and the sun's been shining more often than not. I also swore that after the winter we had, I would have nothing but good things to say about this Spring and Summer! :~)

Hope you're getting your brighter days by now!
    Hugs,

  12. Today was the first day of no rain in a very long time. It even made it to 60*. YEAH!!! Thank you for your sweet comment. I am trying and it is fun sharing. This week is mega week for pratice on my 5K walk on Saturday. I am finding it very hard not to break into a jog but this one is walk only, speed walking but still walking.
    Take care Shwawn. Blessing!!
