Yes, I must admit, I do not like snow, cold weather, Colorado winter winds, dreary skies...I am a confirmed Desert Rat. I love blue skies, hot temperatures, slight breezes and the feel of the sun's warmth, while sitting by the pool, watching the grand kiddo's swimming.
This will be one of the few times I mention my Fibromyalgia but I just wanted you to know that when the weather changes like this I feel like *#%# grrrrrrrrrr! I had breakfast, took my 800mg of Ibuprofen and will sit at the computer until it starts working. That being said, no more complaining!
Today, I will be linking up to a few Hop's and adding them to this post. Also, I was thinking about setting some goals for 2011 and read, on FB, about a challenge hosted by John "the Penguin" Bingham. He is challenging his followers to exercise for 30 minutes a day for 100 days. That is doable, and he even gives the option of breaking it into two, fifteen minute, segments! The object is to get up and move, be it walking, running, going to the gym anything that gets us going. I can not think of a better way to start the New Year.
I JOINED!
The 100 Days Challenge

Happy New Year to you too!! I hope you're feeling all better really soon!

ReplyDeleteFirst off, I love the blog background, I didn't even look at your blog before I put mine up!! Great minds think alike:) We have received over 12 inches so far of snow. I'm so grateful we were able to make it home safe too:) It was pretty hairy on the Rim coming home!! But I didn't scream once!! That made Dave very happy and me too, maybe I'm growing up alittle. HAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteLOVE YOU
~Wendy~
I also suffer with fibromyalgia although, luckily, it has not flared up in well over a year. And I hope it stays away.
ReplyDeleteWe should trade places--I love cold weather and gray skies but not the heat. This last summer was a record in high temps and I was not a happy camper!
Happy New Year!!!
I hope you have a peaceful New Year!

Thank you for following my blog, I followed you back on GFC. I came up with the name of my blog because my son likes airplanes, and my baby girl reminds me of a beautiful, delicate dragonfly.
