Thirty days of Thanks..day 6,7 and 8 all rolled into one!

I have read several sad stories on FB, the last few days, about pets that have gone to the Rainbow Bridge or are nearing the end of their time here on earth.  Loosing a beloved pet can be as heartbreaking as loosing any other family member. I dread the time when I will have to say goodbye to my pets and pray it will be a long time coming.

Today I am thankful for my furbabies, Chloe, Cecil and Winston, who have brought so much joy into my life.  They have enriched my life with the type of  love only a pet can give. They have brought out a soft, tender side of Hubby, that melts my heart.

Adopting Winston from rescue, has opened my eyes to the needs of so many animals waiting to find their forever home.  Hopefully when I retire, Hubby and I can help a rescue group with fostering or transport.

I am thankful for my pets and the blessing they have been to our family!

  2. It is extremely hard to loss furbabies. I think they represent that unconditional love the Father shows us. I just wish they could be with us longer. Your furbabies are beautiful volunteering for a rsque group is so much fun. I have had the please of working with a few groups in Ca when I loved there. And when I go down I still get to be apart of one as one of my friends foster and transport both. I get to enjoy those furbabies that need forever homes. Loved your post today.
    Blessings
