Meet Me On Monday

Question #2 compliments of Hilary at Feeling Beachie!!

If you have a question suggestion please email me at: nevergrowingold@hotmail.com and if I use your question I will give you a shout out!

Questions:

1.  What is your favorite kind of muffin?
My favorite muffins are Blueberry.  I must say, the ONLY way I like blueberries are in muffins.

2.  What was the first car you ever owned?
Hmmm, boy that was a long time ago! My first car was a Pinto. My
brothers would not ride with me because they were afraid the gas
      tank would explode.

3.  Which TV Show were you sad to see end?
That is a toss up between Cheers and M.A.S.H. I will have to go with
      M.A.S.H!

 4.  What is your lucky number?
       I don't have a lucky number.
Some would say this is unlucky, that is the day my grandson (R) was born!

 5.  Pretzels or Potato Chips?
Right now, I have been on a pretzel kick. I tell myself they are less fattening..so I can eat more!

  2. You know I almost put MASH as the series I was sad to see end. I do remember crying while watching Goodbye, Farewell & Amen *sniff*

My Dad had a pinto that my twin brothers and I drove when we were in high school. We nicknamed it "The Blue Bomber".LOL

  4. Ford Pinto, LOL That makes me think of this very funny episode and quote from the tv show Sex and the City (oh, maybe that's a show I should have listed as being sad about ending too! Maybe I'll go back and add it.) Anyway, a character had testicular cancer, and sadly, had to you know, lose his boy parts. Sad thing, and a grim reality for alot of men today. but, because it's a comedy show, they have to take it a step further beyond health and sex education and make you laugh. So the guy goes for a consultation about getting "implants" if you know what I mean. The doctor relaxes back in his chair and says "It's perfectly safe!" The man's girlfriend leans over, stares into her friend's eyes and says, "Steve, that's what they said about the Ford Pinto. You want a Pinto near your p*****?" (boy parts) He shakes his head no very solemnly. LOL Anyway, that's what Ford Pintos make me think of! Is that too wildly inappropriate for a first time comment? If it didn't make you laugh, please feel free to delete it! If it did, then, well I'm glad! lol!

  5. Oh I love Cheers!! MASH too but Cheers (the first 5 seasons anyway!) is my absolute fave!

I'm so hankering for some blueberry muffins and pretzels now - both very healthy - yes they are! :-) Take care

  6. Pretzels have to be healthy 'cause it says so in my vending machine at work!!! I loved the last show of M*A*S*H - and I'm so glad they took the effort to wrap everything up. So many shows these day end and just leave you hanging.

Now I know where your gumption came from - anyone that was brave enough to ride around in a Pinto :-D

I consider the 13th a good number also - my oldest daughter was born on Friday the 13th!

  10. Blueberry is my favorite muffin too. But, I've got to go with chips over pretzels. I just about laughed myself silly when I read that the first car you drove was a pinto. A friend had one and was afraid to drive it herself because of the gas tank thing! She'd go a block or two, but that was it. Kinda defeats the purpose of having wheels!

Have a great week, my dear.
    Hugs,
    ~Mrs B

  16. I agree... Mash. I'm still watching Mash reruns for the "who knows how many time?" Then I get sad memories of when my last son used to come home from work and we watched Mash for the 1st time. It's only sad because that son is now close to 50. Yipes.
