So Thankful It is the Weekend!

Here it is Saturday and I never thought last week would end. I was on the last four day stretch and will now be working only three days a week. Yeah, for Me! Some might think that is LAZY but getting up at 4:15, being to work at 6:00 and never knowing when I will get off..is somewhat trying at times. As nurses, we are on our feet 10-12 hours a day..poor tootsies.  Luckily, I work in an Out Patient Surgery Center and have not worked nights, or weekends, for the last ten years.  Anyway, I am glad to be on the shorter work week even though $$ will be tight.

Since $$ will be tight, I am so thankful to have found such wonder blogs about frugal living..Bill Will Be SOOO Proud!!  Hopefully I can learn some great lessons and pass them on.

Life has been going at the speed of light the last few weeks. Last night Emma spent the night so I could take her to dance lessons this morning while her Mom was at Jonah's swim meet.  I had planned on going on an early morning run, before she woke up, but the minute I started the coffee she was wide awake. I did not want to leave her since I was so tired last night, I was not very good company.  Since Bill woke up too, I decided to make a nice breakfast of Waffles.  I should have taken a pic but was charging the camera battery for a party tonight.

Hopefully, I will get back on the running trail tomorrow or by Monday at the latest. I spoke with my son, Shawn, today and he is planning on running the Chicago Marathon with me. Although, his plan is to run barefoot! He is up to 5 miles barefoot at this time. YIKES, talk about sore tootsies!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Shawn
